WELCOME TO THE SLY PARK HILLS AREA
FIRE SAFE WEB-SITE
This web site contains information that can save lives and property. Be prepared, get involved, and become a Fire Safe advocate.
The Sly Park Hills Area Fire Safe is a grass-roots neighborhood organization founded to identify and address fire safety in Sly Park Hills and adjacent areas. It is a subset of the Pollock Pines and El Dorado County Fire Safe Councils. Please see our mission statement.
Join us? If you could prevent the forest fire that burns your home would you take proactive action? What is proactive action to you? Is it clearing the brush in your yard? Is it helping your neighbors clear brush? What about helping your community? Doing so may save your home and more, much more.
I ask these questions and more as the 2008 fire season flared up today with the Sierra Springs fire.
The Sly Park Hills Area Fire Safe Council benefits everyone, but without your direct involvement our council will fail. Our members are few, our community is large and the price of failure is significant. We are at a milestone; we need your help, our neighbors help, and the help of our officials. Get involved. Want more info, contact Craig or Bill per the info at the bottom of this page. Regards, Mike Angles
Can you say Angora! Don't be next. Get involved now.
